
ABOUT
Hello! My name is Shaun Elwood, I am an Enthusiastic Sound Designer from Caerphilly, South Wales, with the main focus on game audio.
I am currently a freelance Sound Designer and I have also started creating games with Unreal Engine 4.
I first began my journey into sound design when I started my first year degree in music production, when I got a chance to do a game audio workshop. Not only that, but I loved the aspect of how the creative and technical skills blended together, and seeing the finished outcome. Having grown up playing video games, I understood how important audio is, and how it should also support the gameplay to create a more immersive experience for the player.
I’ve been fortunate enough to have made connections within the local games’ scene in Cardiff, and I regularly take place in the local Game Jams here in Cardiff.

Formosa Group : Junior Dialogue Editor
Worked as a Junior Dialogue Editor for a fixed term contract on The Sims 4.
The Sims 4 : Werewolves
Worked as part of the dialogue editing team for The Sims 4 : Werewolves DLC pack. My main responsibilities on the project was to line up the dialogue with the moving animation inside of Hulk, and also balancing the dialogue volume level, then import the dialogue into Izotope RX and remove any unwanted frequencies and any harsh sounds.

Worked as part of the dialogue editing team for The Sims 4 : High School Years DLC pack.
